| Bio: | I am a 23-year-old graduate student, studying for a Masters in Middle-Grades Education. My dream jobs in middle-school education are 6th-grade Language Arts or 7th grade Writing teacher. Ideally, I'd like to teach regular-speed students, and I really want to be placed where funding for programs is a problem and there are not enough teachers to teach English. Basically, I'm saying "Give me the hardest job," but I know that if it is difficult, it will also be intensely rewarding, because I will be helping out students and schools alike with my work. I want to teach the "lower-level students" because I think those students can most easily fall through the cracks if they don't have a caring teacher to help them. I have a lot of websites, but I've never had a livejournal before, so this is a big change for me. Mostly I'm joining because a lot of my Web friends have "friends-only" LJs and I'd like to be let in. XD Anyhoo, as you can see, I like to talk and write (which is a good thing for us English majors). I also love to read and write poetry and fiction, play and compose music for piano and voice, create and code websites, play video games and trading card games, and surf the Internet.
